Titanic is a love story about a girl from a noble background, namely Rose; and a man, Jack who is a peasant. Rose was bethrothed to another man who was too a noble, but she then fell in love with Jack when they met on the Titanic.
Rose was forbidden then to see Jack, because she was betrothed. The Titanic Crashed into an iceburg, Jack died of hypothermia so Rose could be saved. Rose survived, and she changed her last name into Jack's, sort of hinting that she's Jack's wife.
It's kinda sad and romantic. Nice theme song.
