Most graphite racquets from major brands: Wilson, Head, Yonex, PK, Dunlop, Prince are built to last if you take good care of them. There have been reports that some Head Radical racquets crack from normal play. I have seen cheap metal racquet bended on the first use.
Never abuse your racquet by:
- leave it under hot sun/inside the car for a prolonged period
- string within recommended tension
- replace the grommet/bumber guard when needed
- throw, sit or hit the racquet on other object other than a tennis ball
- leave broken string in racquet (cut and remove broken string as soon as possible)
But afterall, you should pick a racquet that fit your playing style and budget than just how long it will last, since your skill will improve over time and you will need a new stick to fit your game.
