本名陽子 Honna Youko

1979年生於日本埼玉縣。1983年年僅4歲的她加入日本兒童劇團，首次亮相是在1986年CX台“誰會穿嫁衣”節目，其後參演了一系列的舞臺劇、電影。1992年她在吉卜力作品《歲月的童話》中擔任小學5年級的岡島タエ子的配音。此後又參與了多部電影的配音及廣播劇的演出。1994年從兒童劇團退出後，並未放棄她的演藝事業。1995年吉卜力新作《夢幻街少女》的主角月島霞的配音再次鎖定本名陽子，在片中她還演唱了片尾曲及插曲回鄉的路。1996年先後發售了首張專輯《朋友》、單曲《未來之門》，主持名爲陽子的天堂的廣播節目。2000年4月26日她重新發行了單曲唱片《回鄉的路》的特別版。2002年她再次參與了吉卜力新片《貓的報恩》的配音工作。
