1. When the ratio is 5:7 , Tom will have 5 / 12:So, Tom's money is: $1920*(5/12) = $800
and,
Harry's money is: $1920*(7/12) = $1120
2. Rover's money is: $120000, and Terry's money is: $150000
First, calculate their ratio of both of them: 120000/150000 = 4:5
If they have profit is $90000, the equation is:
Rover can shared: $90000*(4/4+5) = $40000
and
Terry can shared: $90000*(5/4+5) = $50000
