燃料

氣體爐灶

應由及格技師負責安裝，並應保持爐灶周圍空氣流通。如果懷疑氣體洩漏：

應關閉煤氣總掣或石油氣罐上的供應掣，不應觸及爐灶上任何操控掣。

雪櫃

任由塵埃及棉絨積聚在馬達、壓縮機、風扇及散熱線圈上，都容易引致失火，應定期將雪櫃插頭拔開，清除馬達及壓縮機的塵埃。

後面排氣的舊型雪櫃，應離牆放置，保持空氣流通。








廚房門

部分公屋單位內的廚房門是有防火功能的，住戶切勿隨意更換。

冷氣機

未安裝冷氣機前，應檢查其耗電量，以免超過電線的負荷。



電器用品

火柴及打火機

煙灰盅

裝有墊子的傢具

裝有墊子的傢具如沙發、咕和床褥等，容易被未熄的煙蒂燻燒，產生煙霧及致命的氣體，要小心火種。







熨衣

熨衣時切勿插著熨斗走開，此舉往往會引致衣服燒焦而著火，尤其是木造及用布襯料的熨板更易燃燒。
