【30分】AIDS 潛伏期幾耐?

AIDS 潛伏期 is around 7 years, that is the time the virus is resting and not causing the disease.
HIV is the virus which cause the disease (AIDS)
therefore, you can be HIV positive but you are not an AIDS patient.

in AIDS patient, the CD4+ T cells are the target host of the virus. When the virus in active form, the CD4+ T cells no longer follow the instruction of the patient's body. Therefore, when the body need the T cells for fighting enemy (bacteria/virus) but no pathogen killing function fr the T cells. The patients become susceptible to all common pathogen which can be healed by our normal immunity system.
So, AIDS patients are not killed by the HIV virus but killed by other pathogens.

in AIDS 潛伏期, there is no 特徵! only HIV positive.. therefore it's called 潛伏期!

另外AIDS初染無特徵,加上是不治之症有特徵都冇救
同HIV的分別→ HIV是先天的 AIDS是後天的
