Metal in flame:Equation is Metal + oxygen = Metal oxide
Metal in water:
Equation is (K, Na and Ca)+water = (K, Na and Ca) hydroxide + hydrogen
(Mg, Al, Zn, Fe) +water = (Mg, Al, Zn, Fe) oxide+ Hydrogen
