香港中央參考圖書館設於八樓及九樓，總藏量約八十多萬項，分為六個專部：一般參考部、香港資料部、社會科學部、科技部、商業及財經部及人文科學部。

The Hong Kong Central Reference Library has a total stock of more than 800,000 items, and divided into 6 departments namely the General Reference Department, the Hong Kong Studies Department, the Social Sciences Department, the Science and Technology Department, the Business and Finance Department and the Humanities Department.
