a) No, there is not a CHEMICAL reaction.
There is only the occurrence of precipitation, which is a PHYSICAL reaction.
NaCl (aq) + AgNO3 (aq) →NaNO3 (aq) + AgCl (s)

b) Yes
CaCO3 (s) + 2HCl (aq) → CaCl2 (s) + H2O (l)+ CO2 (g)

1. yes. ions are evolved, and some other new compounds are formed.
Ag+ + Cl- → AgCl (s)
2. yes. reason is same as above
CaCO3 + 2H+ → Ca2+ + CO2 + H2O

(a) yes.
sodium chloride solution(aq) + silver nitrate solution(aq) →
sodium nitrate solution(aq) + silver chloride solution(aq)
(b)yes.
calcium carbonate(s) + dilute hydrochloric acid(aq) →
calcium chloride(s) + carbonate(g) + hydrogen(g)
