有關poly專業中英語文(超urgent)20分

我曾經就這個問題，向POLYU入學組發問，
〔其實你亦可透過電郵，或其他電話發問，
他們很樂意解答的〕

POLYU的計分是 AL比例是1，而一般AS的比例是0.6.
成績得分是： A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1，跟會考一樣.

換句話說，
如果你的成績是：CLC(D), UE(D), PMATHS(D), AMATHS(D), PHY(D)，
那麼你的得分是: 2 X 0.6 + 2 X 0.6 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 8.4分.

但是如果你報讀的學系是重視語文，
例如：專業中英文，文科，商科重溝通的學系，〔據聞護理系也是〕
你的語文科, CLC, UE 的比例是 1.

而CUT OFF POINT，
就是代表，以上述的比例來計數的總分數，
如果你的分數不能高於或等於CUT OFF POINT，
你的申請絕不受到考慮.

但如果你高於CUT OFF POINT，
那就要視乎到底有多少人報讀和其他人的成績，
然後再比較，再收生. 並不代表一定會取錄.

話雖如此，我有一友人報讀POLYU某工程學系，
成績比CUT OFF POINT剛剛差了少許，
但很幸運地入讀.

而另一友人成績比CUT OFF POINT高出2.0分數，
但並未獲得取錄，報讀的是某商學系.

而另外，
如果你有校長推薦計劃，或自薦計劃，
一經被認為你有非學業的成就，
會著量為你加分.
唯雖注視，這兩項計劃，如果成績平淡，
都是在AL放榜後知會你結果．

professional chinese and english?!

i sincerely hope you not to choose this subject

i am sure your grades of HKCEE (especially Chinese and English) cannot make you get into this programme

and i do not think that you can have a big leap in CL&C and UE for HKALE in less than 2 years (i mean at least got C for both language subjects)

also, the cut-off score of polyu is rubbish, you just meet the score does not necessarily mean that you will be considered in the iteration

also, many the ppl in the programme you mentioned actually have high grade in language, both in HKCEE and HKALE

so, if you just really want to get into a university for a degree programme, think about the others programme, such as engineering or science
