about the latest CE syllabus for chemistry

1. actually, it is just adding concentrated sulphuric acid to the solution and heat it.

2. hydrogenation is the addition of hydrogen to usually C-C double bonds, with the use of catalysts, such as nickel, platinum etc., hydrogenation of C-O double bond is also possible, but needs much more drastic condition, ofcoz with the presence of the catalysts mentioned above.
