A merchant bought a chair for $500 and a desk for $750.He sold the chair at a loss of 30% and the desk at a profit of 24%.Find this profit or lost per cent on the whole.

椅子的售價為 $500 x (1-30%) = $350桌子的售價為 $750 x (1+24%) = $930
全部交易盈利為 $350+$930 - ($500+$750)
= $1280 - $1250 = $30
