呢個問題比較含糊。製成品好重要，因為我們要用。半製成品好重要，因為將會成為製成品。

你可能係問為什麼要把成品分成製成品和半製成品。分開的目的有幾方面：

Final Goods are the goods produced at the end of the production sequence, for use by consumers (or other market participants).

Intermediate Goods are goods purchased for use as input in further stages of production.

So only Final Goods are included in GDP. The Intermediate Goods are excluded in GDP. That why we must distinguish between Final Goods and Intermediate Goods.
