中國東方航空問題

Currently, majority of their flights in/out of Hong Kong are operated by A320/B737 while a few Hong Kong-Shanghai flight are operated by A300/A330/A340...
And I shall tell you about their aircraft by model:
A300-The internal is pretty old but the seats are really comfortable with pretty good leg-room.
A320-The internal is very new but the seats are less comfortable compare to their wide-body jets with limited leg-room.
A330/A340-Very new wide-body jet in China Eastern fleet. And their seats are pretty comfortable although not as good as A300.
B737-The internal is pretty new too. But still the same with A320 with limited leg-room and seats not too comfortable.
So if you are flying to Shanghai, then I would suggest you to choose the A300/A330/A340 operated flight.
Regarding to meals, they are not too bad... But could be a little bit small in term of portion... And in my experience, I found the crew was alright but not the best... And it would be better if you can understand and speak some if not lot of Mandrian as there are no crew that can speak Cantoness (1/2 who can speak Cantoness on Shanghai flight)... And I would personally be surprised if you can understand their English either...
On my previous experience in China Eastern, when I ask them in English for something, its difficult to understand the answer from them... Then I just switch channel back to Mandrian...
