After taking antidepressants (Lexapro) for 3-4 months, I was being diagnosed with schizophrenia and started taking abilify for 2 months. Recently I am taking :
1. Lexapro (10mg)
2. Fluanxol (0.5mg)
3. Zeldox (20mg)
4. Xanax (0.25mg)
I am taking more and more drugs and I cannot feel a sign of recovery. Is medication really helps?

wa! no prozac on the list?
if you can, maybe you should stop taking medication. i heard stories about people taking medicines like you. they seem more active and happier when they stopped the medication or something, but then guess what, they suicide afterward!!
i think it's best to put up more visits with the psychologist or somebody that can help you to resolve your problem(s) than pure drugs. drugs are no good! yes it does help releasing chemicals that you needed to feel better or something, but that isn't good because it will prevent your body from producing those chemicals. once you rely on the drugs to produce something that you need, then the part(s) of your body that produces it will stop (trying to) producing it and will move on to other areas...

Medication does help but watch out for the antidepressents! They can trigger mania.....
I was told that I was bipolar few months ago.. I think it's the Wellbutrin that made me bipolar =[ Dammmmmit
Now I'm taking Lithium........

Maybe you should hang in there.. and it could get better! but sure it takes time. Don't stop your medication abruptly. I heard it's really bad...
