i am27 weeks pregnant,since Tuesday,i got:
fever,serious headache,sore throat,gum inflamation etc.
especially the gum inflamation and sore throat,i cannot eat anything,only can drink milk and water.
The gum inflamation getting worse,it is spreading to another side,there has some white dots besides the gum of my teeth,it is extemely painful,
wt s that inflamation abt the gum,normal get worse,and will affect my baby ?
I am so worry and sick,pls help,THZ

the white spots are not bacterial infection.. it should be virus infection that penicillin cannot treat!pregnant women are ez to get gum infection, so it is suggested to have dental check before or early pregnancy,
I think there are some month-wash for heavy viral infection (but not sure can it used in pregnant women), so check with your dr.. but you may try to rinse your mouth a few time daily with salt-water.
also, to fight the virus, take extra vit-C and zinc, get more water and rest.
get treated ASAP!
