英語多個問題!!

用 is/ are/ was/ were 要睇 (1) tense, (2) which 前面的 noun 是 singular / plural form

present tense 時用 is /are
past tense 時用 was / were

singular form 時用 is / was
plural form 時用 are / were

(apple) which is ... (present tense)
(apple) which was ... (past tense)
(apples) which are ... (present tense)
(apples) which were ... (past tense)


was stolen 是被動式

is / are / was / were / has been / have been / had been / will be /
is being / are being / was being / were being 等等後加 past participle 是被動式

past participle 的例子: gone, seen, taken....

if the sentence is present tense.....
you should use is / are.....

if the sentence is past tense ....
you should use was / were....

was stolen 是被動式.
e.g. :The pearl was stolen by the thief.

was stolen 當然係被動式。
