sun of roots = -a/b
so, sum of roots = -6/2 = -3
Let a root be a, and the other root be (a - 5)
i.e, a + (a - 5) = -3
2a = 2
a = 1
so , the roots are 1 or (1 - 5)= -4

product of roots = c/a
so, product of roots = m/2
i.e, (1)(-4) = m/2
m = -8

X1 = -2/4 + root(36-8m)/4
X2 = -2/4 - root(36-8m)/4

X1 - X2 = 5

5 = 2*root(36-8m) / 4

10 = root(36-8m)

100 = 36 - 8m
64 = -8m
m = -8
