科大係香港平均排第三, 但都試過超越中大排第二.至於全球, 其實冇一個實際數字, 因為每個國家出的排名都唔一樣, 但大約係 50 上下.

The Standard

Beijing University ranks 14th - the best in Asia - among the world's top 100 universities, while Hong Kong University ranks 33rd, based on a range of criteria (n. 準則), including international outlook (n. 視野), the quality of teaching and graduates' employability (n. 就業能力), according to a survey by British newspaper The Times (n. 《泰晤士報》).
Almost half of the top 100 universities are in the United States and the UK, and the top 13 are all US and British institutions.
America's Harvard University tops the list while Britain's Cambridge University and Oxford University rank second and third respectively (adv. 依次地), followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yale University, Stanford University, California Institute of Technology (n. 加州理工學院), University of California Berkeley (n. 加州大學柏克萊分校), Imperial College London (n. 倫敦帝國學院) and Princeton University.
In the SAR, Hong Kong University moved up eight places - from 41st last year to 33rd this year, while the Chinese University of Hong Kong was up one slot (n. 位置) from 51st to 50th this year. The University of Science and Technology, however, fell 15 places - from 43rd to 58th.
