In a computer game, Edward gets 1300 points less than two times William's score. If they get a total score of 6500 points, who has got a higher score ? By how many points?

假設Edward有X分
William有Y分

2Y-X=1300 ------- (1)
X+Y=6500 -------- (2)

由 (1) 得 2Y -1300 = X 代入 (2)
得 (2Y -1300) + Y = 6500
3Y = 6500 + 1300
3Y = 7800
Y = 2600

X = 3900

Edward 得分較高多了 3900-2600 =1300分
