金紫荊廣場位於香港會議展覽中心新翼,廣場內有一朵金光閃閃的紫荊花,故稱金紫荊廣場。這朵紫荊花乃鍍金雕像, 由中央政府送給香港作為特區政府成立的禮物, 別具紀念價值,不少旅客專程到此遊覽。這朵紫荊花已成為香港重要的地標及旅遊勝地之一。廣場北面還暨立一座香港回歸祖國紀念碑。每天早上八時正廣場都有升旗儀式。
