之後直上(Final year) University of Greenwich 的 Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Accounting and Finance, 即不用兩年就可讀完degree(最快年半就可以,可exempt acca paper)


Business success worldwide can only be achieved through people. Managers need to be educated to respond rapidly, flexibly and effectively to the ever increasing pace of change in the business world. It is a complex task to develop programmes which provide an understanding of a range of business disciplines closely linked to their applications, and to facilitate the development of individual management skills.


Course Objectives:
This comprehensive advanced diploma program in Accounting and Finance aims to train and to bridge professionals in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or to those who are intending to pursue a career in this financial and accounting fields.

Program Structure:
The Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Finance offered and awarded by ABRS will consist of 6 modules. The program will serve as a benchmark or gateway for students graduated with various awards to prepare the necessary academic background before entering onto the final year of the Bachelor of Art (Hon) in Accounting and Finance offered by University of Greenwich, UK.

The 6 modules are: –

Stage A:(Total: HKD7,800) (HKD2,600 each)
Business Law
Financial Accounting (可申請exemption)
Information Systems

Stage B: (Total: HKD12,500)
Business Taxation
Management Accounting
Financial Reporting


This 4 to 9 months Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Finance program will be operated on a tri-semester basis: spring, summer and autumn. Each module consists of 20+/30+ hours face-to-face lectures, an assignment and a 3-hours examination. The Advanced Diploma is accredited by University of Greenwich – Accounting/Finance School as one of the entry requirement to the final year BA (Hon) in Accounting and Finance.

Admission Requirement: Students possess (1) Diploma or Higher certificate or Associated degree in accounting / finance from one the recognized technical institutes / universities, or (2) passed or exempted ACCA Level 1, or (3) passed or exempted CIMA first level, or (4) passed or exempted minimum 5 papers from HKAAT plus other qualification, or (5) Higher Diploma or equivalent in other disciplines with strong accounting / finance background and work experience, or (6) mature candidate 5 years of solid accounting / finance working experience and proven academic / professional background.

Commencement:
Feb/March or June/July or Sep/Oct

Duration:
Approximately 4 to 9 months. For advanced diploma 12 month for final year degree. Both advanced diploma/degree will enjoy CEF, maximum saving of HK$10,000

III. Minimum Entry Requirements



The Certificate in Accountancy offered by the School of Continuing Education (SCE) (admitted to the programme (CP0070) in or after 2003 Autumn term)*; OR
Completion of Form 7#; OR
Qualifications / experience deemed to be equivalent by the the SCE.

Applicants may be required to make up additional subjects depending on their prior learning.

* Arrangement for student admitted before 2003 Autumn term, please refer to the announcement posted at our website at www.sce.hkbu.edu.hk or contact the Registry at 3411 5467.
# Applicants without HKAL Principles of Accounts or equivalent, should make up ACT0501, ACT0502, ACT0511, ACT0503, and LAW0005 before admission.






IV. Academic Recognition

University of South Australia


Under normal circumstances, graduates of the Diploma in Accountancy are granted exemption equivalent to 8 subjects out of the 24 subjects leaving 16 subjects to be completed towards the Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of South Australia, depending on how closely their prior learning matches with their intended studies. About HK$20,880 for the whole programme (to be paid on a subject-by-subject basis and subject to revision)
