香港學生的英文水平為什麼愈來愈低？

I think the quality of teachers may be one of the attributes.

Do you know where are the best students going after their graduation from secondary schools? The education faculty? Conceivably not. They go to medicine faculty, law faculty, BA faculty etc. Usually, only students with poorer AL exam results go to the education faculty and they finally end up with a teaching career. Terrible, isn't it?

沒有實際資料顯示香港學生的英文水平愈來愈低。
我的兒甥女只是小學五年班，已經教一些連我都不懂的英文生字，例如各種花如菊花、玫瑰花的名稱。

還有，她們要作一篇200字以上的英文文章。

我想當年我要到中一才開始作英文，小學的英文那有這麼深。

所以我覺得港學生的英文水平應該愈來愈高才是。
人們之所以覺得低，是因為他們用以前的大學生(只有兩間)和現在的大學生(有八間大學)的英文水平相比，才覺得愈來愈低。
但這樣的比較是不公平的。

「填鴨式」教育,就係咁簡單!政府應該檢討吓啦。
