I have got a really serious problem.......plz help me

Today i tried to turn on my laptop, however, there is no any picture on the screen, even the IBM THINKPAD logo. After I press the power button, it just on, but no any picture, and i wait wait wait, nothing come up as well.........definitely i didn´t turn the monitor off ( and there is no way for me to turn off the monitor as it is a laptop, a notebook), but it was definitely fine last night.

So what is the problem? How can i use my laptop again??

I don't know very much about laptop but I am guessing it's either the cable connecting monitor and your main body is broken or lossen. or the display card's not working, or just basically the monitor's broken. If your laptop is still under warranty, I suggest you take it to retail and have them check. If it's already past warranty, better find technician to fix it...there are many stores I think in Mong Kok (if you are in Hong Kong) that people help to fix computers..But I am not sure where, because I have never had big problem like that.
