Buyer and marketing

if the post "marketing assistant" is responsible for the marketing communications related tasks...e.g. advertising, sales promotion, event management, pr...i can say the career path for this position will have more stable future...coz there is no industry barrier

whereas for buyer trainee...since you will concentrate on particular items or products...you will be more specialized and focus on one industry...so...not that flexible to get into another industry

if i were you...i'd prefer to be a marketing assistant more...
