why we are children?

because we are smaller than them when we grow up we can call people children too

because we are children.

Children is mean some young boy or girl,
we call them "children".
If there is just one young boy or girl,
we call them "child".
but not same as teenager,
Teenager is mean some boy or girl are older than children.
