Up to this moment, only Virgin Atlantic has confirmed of flying A380 on London-Hong Kong-Sydney... But due to the earlier delay on delivery, Virgin Atlantic is now not expecting their first A380 until late 2008, so they should be putting the A380 on the route by early 2009 if everything goes as planned...
Theoritically, the fares should be driven down with the introduction of the A380 as this would provide around 200 additional seats per day on the route... Having said that, as the number of Hong Kong students studying in Australia is increasing dreamically every year, so by 2009 I believe the fare wont be down by much as the demand would be at a even higher level and just 200 more seats a day is not enough...
Having said that, during the next 2 years, if airlines decide to increase the number of flights along with Virgin Atlantic upgrade to A380, then the supply of seats on the route would increase by far which could stable the fare if not drive it down... BUT sadly, there is not plan as yet to increase capacity on the route until Virgin Atlantic introduce A380 into their fleet...

For Qantas, they will be receiving their first from 2008... But they will use it mainly on Sydney-Los Angeles flights... And maybe Sydney-London later, for Qantas, they are only flying Melbourne-Hong Kong-London now...

So for Qantas to fly Sydney-Hong Kong with A380 is not very likely... But for Melbourne-Hong Kong-London, they dont have a piority on using A380... So not likely they will get before 2009 when Virgin Atlantic will fly A380 on the route...
