甘泉航空點解會平咁多?!

在選擇航線方面，甘泉航空以容易接駁行程為大前題；例如倫敦格域及柏林為歐洲優惠價航空公司的主要樞紐，可接駁遍及歐洲多個主要目的地。此外，三藩市的奧克蘭國際機場亦提供接駁其他低廉票價的航線前往美國各大城市。

甘泉航空主席李卓民接受訪問時指出，為降低經營成本及推行符合經濟效益的營商策略，該公司將運用新的營運模式，即先透過新公司Oasis Growth & Income Ltd購入飛機，再轉租予甘泉航空，藉此減輕甘泉航空的資金壓力，並讓其飛機租賃公司建立新收費渠道。

同時經營飛機租賃公司及航空公司的好處，是公司一方面可清楚計算每程航班的營運成本，從而決定是否開出新航線，而另一方面亦可估計每架出租飛機可為公司帶來多大收益，令公司較易掌握賬目及營運管理。

主席李生表示，只做遠程，因為長程航線可以因為減少降落之類，令平均成本降低。做了充分燃油對沖，以防油價突然由高企時受到即時影響。

總括而言，甘泉航空選擇飛往優惠價航空樞紐，減低營運成本，務求能為乘客節省更多開支。

李卓民昨於啟航禮上表示，一千元單程飛倫敦的經濟客位機票優惠，會維持至十二月十四日，未來一年至少有一成的經濟客位機票以一千元發售。

First of all because 甘泉 is using second-handed aircraft and secibdky is beacuse it will land in Gatwick airport instead of Heathrow. These are the 2 main reasons.

首先,佢在英國倫敦係用第二線機場,係比第一線機場ga收費為平
(好似國泰,英航都係用第一線的機場的~!?)
第二點,除左飛機餐(普通的),其他娛樂都係要收費的,就連個特別少少ga糖尿餐都要加錢~!?
第三點,用二手飛機,較平(不過冇咩關係)

Their flight time is not longer than any other airlines that are flying Hong Kong-London... In fact they are the same...
And Oasis Hong Kong cheap ticket which are sold at 1000HKD/75GBP only make up a very small proportion of the total number of seats... And if you book late, their price could be more expensive than those other carrier... For example if you book now for Christmas peak season, their ticket could be as high as 8000HKD already while other airlines are similar or even cheaper...
Oasis Hong Kong fly 'point-to-point' (點對點) which means it fly Hong Kong-London and do not provide onward connection like British Airways where they sell ticket on Hong Kong-London-Glasgow... For onward connection from London if you are flying with Oasis Hong Kong, you will have to arrange by yourself...
The main factor that make them cheaper than traditional airlines is that they only provide basic meals on the flight while drinks, amerity kid and other stuff need to be paid for for Economy Class passenger... So that is where they are making money from...
And on each flights, there are only around 20-30seats sold on 1000HKD/75GBP and price will raise as they sold more... So they will have to sell as much ticket as possible to use the more expensive ticket's earning to cover the lost made by those cheap tickets...

因為佢宜家飛機少，所以成本低，機票唔包機上一切額外使費，例如飲食同娛樂等等，所以從中慳唔少，話唔定有錢賺。
點對點即係直航中途不停站，咁做就減少左機場泊位同”入場費”，起飛降落少左亦節省唔少燃料，亦唔駛建立同安排接駁航班，航線少左，所以又慳到一筆啦。
點解甘泉寧可飛倫敦格域都唔停希斯路？就係因為機場費用平，所以又慳到錢，只係顧客如果要去希斯路，就要自己安排接駁交通啦。

間公司得一隻飛機....保養維修支出唔會好大...
