To qualify for our Cadet Pilot Programme, you must be at least 18 years old and a Hong Kong permanent resident. You must be at least 1.6m tall, be physically fit, and possess an excellent command of English. The minimum educational standards we require are:


5 passes in HKCEE / GCSE (O Level), including Physics and Mathematics, together with 2 passes in HKAL / GCE A Level, preferably in Science OR
a Degree or Diploma in any discipline (or the equivalent educational standard obtained overseas)

There*s no 外籍機師 stuff in CX. If he wants to apply for Cathay Cadet Pilot, he need *Permanent Residency in HK* i.e. *** on his ID card, regardless his race.

He can get his ATPL stuff somewhere he can and accumulate the necessary hours for the *Cathay Direct Entry Pilot* (i.e. something like pilot with experience).
