Most of the application require GCSEs and Als results. Just wondering if the companies actually have a way to check on them ?

Yep - outside of asking you to provide certificates, they can contact examination boards directly for information/clarification. As for whether they DO or not, well, that's perhaps a risk you're gonna have to take... My advice - don't bother lying, because if they're asking for a decent level of education, it's probably because the job requires it!

I don't know, but don't lie about your results as if they do find out you will be sacked for it. If you feel that you can do the job advertised, explain this and the experience you have etc.

THERE WILL BE A 2ND INTERVIEW FACE TO FACE IF THEY LIKE YOU, THEN YOU WILL NEED TO PROVE IT.

Yes. Not only that, since all major examinations in UK are prepared by the universities, its possible to check back over many decades. This applies to GCSE [GCE A & O levels] any degrees, MA, BA etc Doctor of this or that and professor etc.

Probably not. They will just tell when you go for an interview and forget your name and age(!). I wouldn't worry about stuff like that. As you get older, you realise that nobody checks on any results anyway, be it GCSE, A-LEVELS or PHD'S (unless the company's really tight and strict - in which case would u want to work for them?)
