By Keisei Railways:
The cheapest way to travel between Narita Airport and Ikebukuro is by Keisei Limited Express. Take the Keisei Limited Express from the airport to Nippori Station (70 minutes) and transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Ikebukuro (15 minutes). The one way fare is 1160 Yen. There are three connections per hour. All seats are unreserved.
About ten minutes faster and 1000 Yen more expensive is the journey by Keisei Skyliner. Transfer to the JR Yamanote Line as explained above. All seats on the Keisei Skyliner are reserved. There are connections roughly every 40 minutes.
