before shipment:
1. check delivery date with supplier for when the goods will be ready and check closing date with shipping line
2. prepare shipping order
3. arrange transportation for delivery of goods before closing
date/time
4. remind supplier to apply certificate of origin from competent authority, like chamber of commerce in hong kong or china commodity inspection beareau in china
5. if goods import from china/taiwan/.... for re-export, need to to import declaration within 14days after date of import

after shipment:
1. give information to shipping company to prepare bills of lading, check the content of the BL approval copy from shipping company, everything OK, then you may issue payment to shipping line, give them the container receipt and get full set bill of lading. if the BL is consigned: TO order. pls remember the BL must have shipper's endorsement
2. prepare your sales invoice
3. prepare your packing list
4. prepare other documents ,if asked for, under importer's L/C
5. if payment term from your buyer is D/A or D/P, or L/C, you need to prepare a collection order form, Draft. if payment is T/T in advance, make sure full payment received then send documents to customer directly by air courier.
6. do export declaration within 14days after goods shipped from hongkong

L/C 付款的出口貨, 更要小心條款..
