Girls is still a very minority in the aircraft maintiance industry... Not many girls tend to pick up a job like this... Since this is really not a job that many people would fancy doing... Apart from the better paid as you become senior of the job...
To entry the job... You either have to have a degree on engineering... Or you can take up the IVE course... Either of that could lead you to a junier of the job...
And at the moment, the biggest employer for the aircraft maintiance industry in Hong Kong is HAECO... More detail could be found on their website...
