Like most of the Hong Kong people, I have experienced many Typhoon and rainstorm. I have a special typhoon experience to share. It happened when I was about 13 years old.
On that day, it rained heavily and it was very windy. It soon announced Typhoon 8 and I did not need to go to school.
As I had nothing to do, I went to visit a neighbour friend, Polly. We were so bored at home and we decided to take a little advanture. We brought our umbrellas with us and wore our raincoats. Then, we slowly walked to Kwun Tong Pier. On our way to there, the wind was too strong and had broken our umbrellas. Luckily, we still had our raincoats. When we arrived the pier, we could not see anything except an angry sea. The waves were so strong and high. We could almost touch it. At that point, we started to feel scared and went home.
Of course, when our parents found out what we had done, they scolded us. But this was a very special experience to both of us.
(I hope my experience can help you!)
