1. The value of X:x(3/4)-7=2
x(3/4) =9
x=9(4/3)
X =12
2. Let x and y be the money of helen and susan respectively
{x+y=40
{x=4y
put x=4y into x+y=40
4y+y=40
5y=40
y=8
put y=8 into x+y=40
x+8=40
x=40-8
x=32
3.The number of children
