You should count your blessings that you were not fired!
你應該慶幸你冇未抄魷!!

"慶幸"確實是不能在所有情況下都能正確表達原句的意思.
但在 "...should count your blessings that..." 的情況下算是最簡潔貼切的了.
其餘情況, 用"心足", "感恩", 甚至各位提出的選擇也可以 -- 視乎情況而定.
例如 "you'd better count your blessings that your grades will be OK!" 譯為 "求神拜佛" 似乎較貼切... 補充時間：2006-08-26 14:11
