六西格瑪是什麼？

六西格瑪（6σ）概念於1986年由摩托羅拉公司的比爾.史密斯提出，此概念屬於品質管理範疇，西格瑪（Σ，σ）指統計學中的標準差。旨在生產過程中降低產品及流程的缺陷次數，防止產品變異，提升品質。

也可作為企業戰略的制定工具。

六標準差用來嚴格要求良率（Yield），一般而言相同的流程、程序，每重複一百萬次只允許有三次或四次以下的錯誤，若達五次錯誤即是為達六標準差所設定的高良率水準。目前以美國的老牌企業最積極導入六標準差，除前述的摩托羅拉，也包含了福特汽車、通用電氣、微軟、美林證券、希捷、雷斯安、3M等知名老牌公司。

6 Sigma 是最早由 MOTOROLA 公司用於管理上，並取得人成
績，更獲美國國家最高榮譽優質獎項。繼而 ＧＥ 公司推行
6 Sigma 後，利潤不斷上升，該公司的ＣＥＯ更坐上全球第
一寶座。SONY、TOSHIBA、IBM等各大企業都紛紛學習而取得
數以億計的利潤收益。
本課程主要教授6 Sigma 的基本概念、領導者職責、應
用基礎、實施方案、黑帶功能和其他相關知識，令學員對此
管理概念有基本認識，從而有利於發揮個人管理技巧及魅力。
本課適合企業東主、行政人員、品質管理人及工程人員等人
士報讀。教授語言為中文並輔以英文名詞。

Aims & Objectives


The Six Sigma Institute (SSI) is an independent institute of the Hong Kong Quality Management Association, a non-profit making professional body. Its primary objective is to accredit Six Sigma professionals with recognized knowledge and skills in this application science. The SSI aims to work closely with consultants, training organizations, universities and other professional bodies in promoting the theory and application of Six Sigma methodologies in both private and public organizations as well as government departments. To achieve these goals, the SSI provides training, examinations and registration of six sigma professionals.
