a) 2X^2-5X-4=0(2x+1)(x-4)=0
x=-1/2 or x=4
b) 4X^2-10X=0
x(4x-10)=0
x=0 or x=10/4=5/2
c) 4X^2-14X+2=0
x={14+-square root[(14)^2-4(4)(2)] } / 2x4
x=14+-sqa root[164]/8
