Let $p be the amount that he deposits in a bank
p+p(5%*2)=10950+50
p+0.1p=11000
1.1p=11000
p=11000/1.1
p=10000
p+p(5%*2)=10950+50
p+0.1p=11000
1.1p=11000
p=11000/1.1
p=10000
