3/2b+3/2=-3/2
3/2b=-3
b=-2
Let x be the number of record sold by Alan and let y be the number of records sold by Anita
110x+95Y=12615 --- (1)
x+y = 129 --- (2)
From (2): x = 129 - y --- (3)
Sub (3) into (1):
110(129-y)+95y = 12615
14190-110y+95y = 12615
14190-12615 = 110y-95y
1575 = 15y
y = 105
From (3): x = 129-105
x = 24
Hence, 24 record were sold by Alan and 105 record were sold by Anita
