留意應改正地方都打上「*」和號碼

Puppies are good pets for most people. They are friendly, loving and cute. They love to play with people. (Their sense of smell is very acute*2). Although the odor is very far and we can’t smell it, (also*3) they can smell it easily and find (where is the odor come from*4). (If some people are*5) cooking in the kitchen, they (may*6) come in and (then*7) (shaking*8) their tail happily.

(1)...... 「puppy」不是名字, 不用把P字大寫

(2)...... 「They have a very acute sense of smell」
如果你要用acute這詞, 這樣寫比較正確.

(3)...... 「also」 可以省略

(4)...... 「..where the odor comes from.」

(5)...... 用「if someone is...」或「if people are...」較好

(6)...... 「may come in」 帶有「可以進來」之意.
如要表達「可能進來」, 應用「might come in...」

(7)...... 「then」可以省略

(8)...... 第一: 不該用shake這詞, 因shake是搖動/震動之意
小狗擺尾同常是用wiggle, 此詞有擺動/扭動之意

第二: 不用加「-ing」
所以此句應該是:「...come in and wiggle their tail...」

With their good noses, they can easily detect the odor afar which we human can hardly smell, and know where the odor waft from. If we are making food in the kitchen, they will come in happily with their wagging tails.
