未聽過可以咁做。
internal audit - 一般都會係該公司聘請的員工，直接report比公司大老闆知。他們做的核數會完全獨立/不受其他部門影響。
external audit - 會搵outside會計師做。

the company could hire the outsider (even the CPA firm) to play a role as Internal Auditor.

不能夠的．．．一間公司既人點可以同時係Internal又係External呢?

就算Audit Firm自己同自己做Audit,都只係Internal audit,到最後都係要搵外人來做external audit的
