About burning 8.5GB DVD

I want to know what special software i need when i want to burn 8.5GB DVD. I have already had Nero Burning Room but it does not support this type of burning . And also , where can we download this software, and whether there is any special technique required?

8.5GB DVD is either DVD+R DL (Dual layer) or DVD-R DL.I am using Nero v6 to burn 8.5GB DVD.
If you cannot burn it, the possible reasons are
1. Old version of Nero that does not support dual layer. or
2. Does your DVD writer really support burning DVD+/-R Dual layer? or
3. Does your DVD writer not support your DVD disc? e.g. DVD writer supports DVD+R DL only but you use DVD-R DL.
Please state nero version, what type of DVD disc and your DVD writer brand/model so that I can check it.

The new version of Nero can fully support to burn 8.5GB DVD.
Have you check your Nero version ?
Do you want to copy protected 8.5GB DVD ?
