Computer automatically reboot ?!

i changed the display card and sound card.... when i swith on the computer, it try to get into window..Then,it suddenly re-boot itself (a few times)and shown up the screen which is safe mode, safe mode with network...start windows normally etc..i click on the chose of "Last known recetly working"..Finally, it works ! i am just wondering how can it be ?! i just change the display card and sound card..should be nothing to do with the software or motherboard ?

all Windows detects hardwares before entering system, it chooses the driver to match the hardwares and then log downon your case, you do not del / reset sound card and display card driver, so Windows find different ( you can say ERROR ) before entering system, then it auto reboot and reset the hardware information for you, your hardware information may install into the system before, so you chose Last Know ...... then it can work
i suggest replug the old hardwares ( sound and display ), enter SAFE MODE**,
1.control panel -> system -> hardware manager -> del sound and display card driver
2.control panel -> add/remove programs-> uninstall yor sound and display software
~reboot and enter SAFE MODE for confirmation,
Power off your PC and replug new hardware, insert your Driver Disc to run setup, after reboot two or three times, your system will be more stable
** Power ON PC, non-stop press F8, you can find a similar list to choose, similar as you seen before **

Your display card and sound card is crashed with your computer, change them.
