Do the Orlando Magic have a chance to win the NBA title this year?

No. First Round of the playoffs would be the farthest. Second round is pushing it, but conference finals, right now, I don't think so. They've got Dwight Howard progressing very very well but it'll be a good 2-3 years before he can be counted on to carry a team through a playoff series. Right now he needs Darko to improve as much as he did last year, or even better, and some of his teammates to get their groove on to get past a playoff round. They are inexperienced and very young so to count on them winning a playoff series is a bit too much. They have a shooter in Reddick but he is still a rookie and can and will be rattled by experienced defenders 10 years his senior. If this team retains its core three players in Howard, Milicic and Nelson (plus Reddick's adjustment to the pros), this team will be ready before the end of the decade. Just not now.

Um ... no, absolutely no chance!

Not just yet but they do have some good parts in Howard, Nelson and Reddick. They will need more help but they have 3 good players maybe playoffs (7th or 8th)
