Router內Lease Period有什麼用的呢？

我買了一個新router，看見內裏DHCP有一個設定叫Lease Period，請問有什麼用的呢？內置是48小時，如果過了期會有什麼影響的呢？若不想影響其他電腦的IP address，應該怎樣設定呢？謝謝！

DHCP use the NAT function to let other users share one broadband , the internal use virtual I.P to communicate with router , this I.P have expried time , lease period mean how long this virtual I.P expired
