考試唔合格

我教左琴六年啦,有個學生上年考六級(136分),他的媽媽要求今年考八級,於是報名今年考,成績今天出左啦,唔合格,只得95分,因為佢一向彈得唔差,所以只報左一次.......我好唔開心....Piece A: 24分, B:18分, C:19分, Aural:12分, 其他未看到分紙....究竟學生考試唔合格,係老師問題定係學生問題??八級的passing rate又係幾多呢?...家長又會唔會明白呢?

我第一樣野諗到，係考官問題喎﹗因為照睇六級有distin. ，唔係呃返黎的﹗真係技巧ok先得。
而八級都幾主要係考技巧的。
同埋你睇埋分紙，再在這裡傾啦。
老實說，第二樣野諗到，係老師問題。
你認為佢唔錯，實質能否達到八級水平呢﹖
第三，學生有冇報告考試當時有冇失準呢﹖

Actually, I think both of the teacher and家長also have problems. Because你有responsilibity to know is the grade suitable for the student to exam. If his mom does not know his son level, it is difficult for him to afford even though he got 136 in his G.6 exam.
Do not look down on G.8!! You have responsibility to teach the student deeply and guarantee him to pass. If you know your student cannot reach this grade or you do not know if he can pass in the exam or not, you SHOULD persuade his mom to change her mind. Let her know which level of her son at present!!!
REMEMBER: Before you want to decide about the students exam, you MUST think more deeply about it. Otherwise, you will waste your time on it and the student also!!!
