答: Yes, all the new PR applications need to sit for IELTS test, it is compulsory now. IELTS for Migration purpose is only valid for 1 year, not 2 years. You can either sit for General or Academic mode IELTS test. 2 years validation is only for study purpose, and it has to be in Academic mode.

問: 咁你知唔知而家咪會住4 年既..
答: 現在草擬將會轉四年制才可申請公民. 下年一月就會公報詳情. 不過轉四年制的機會是很高的. 因為這是反恐怖法的一種步驟.

問: TEMP VISA 都計入去, 咁JE 係,係咪讀書期間都計呀?
答: 佢講個TEMP VISA, 係你申請 PR 那時的臨時簽證 or 已申請的Graduated Skill Temporary Visa 計起.

讀書那時都計入去的話, 如果你讀了五年書, 那豈不是不用坐移民監. 澳洲政府沒有這麼順擹的.

The Australia Goverment immigation department have change the rules and regulation in March of 2006.

Even you are Uni grad you till need a IELTS result, unless you have a pervious IELTS results, because IELTS result is only last for two years, but i am in VIC not NSW, so i am not sure is NSW differnt with VIC, my suggestion is... find a PR agence. Normaly they have free counsultion on the first time.
