In Jumeirah area. Dubai Zoo is the oldest zoo of its kind not only in the United Arab Emirates but also in the Arabian Peninsula.
Although small in size, features many exotic endangered species such as the Arabian Wolf, Gordon Wildcat and the lone captive-breeding colony of Socotra Cormorants, Royal Bengal tiger, the axis deer and many more birds and animals.

Opening times: 1000 hrs to 1900 hrs (Tuesdays from 1500 hrs to 1900 hrs)

Not far from the Dubai Zoo is the Mercato Mall(Italian style building)
The place that I always look for: HSBC ETC machine, Spinneys supermarket, try the cakes and croissants at PAUL, food court upstairs with McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, Hardees...if you daughter fed up with Arabian food...haha...

佢地而家起緊好多新野玩﹐我每年都會去(工作)﹐真係每年都有D新野。
據我所知﹐佢地而家起緊一個 動物園 會係 07年落成。有無長頸鹿就唔知喇﹐但係杜拜滑雪都得喇﹐你話養隻長頸鹿又有幾難呀~
而家個個家都有個細細地既ZOO既﹐但係不值一去羅。

杜拜係沙漠嘛... 冇樹葉俾長頸鹿.. 點生存呢??

長頸鹿是一種生長在非洲的反芻偶蹄動物，是世界上最高的陸生動物。雄性個體高達4.8到5.5米高，重達900公斤。雌性個體一般要小一些。

長頸鹿是非洲特有的動物，與鹿和牛有親緣關係，但屬於不同的科，即長頸鹿科。長頸鹿科包括長頸鹿和霍加狓兩種動物。

中國明朝時鄭和的船隊航行到東非，曾帶兩隻長頸鹿回到北京，被當時的人們認為是麒麟。明成祖以此祥瑞之兆來表明自己施政的偉大。時至今日，日語及韓語仍將長頸鹿稱作麒麟。
