It is more common to say "I am heart-broken because my boyfriend left me" than "I have a broken heart as my boyfriend left me". This is somethinbg concerning the usage og English

其實broken heart的意思是 "破碎的心"

令人心碎 --> breaking someone's heart
Eg. You are breaking my heart by having an affair with my best friend.

It is so sad and brokenhearted that my best freind has accident today .
